Added-Value per company

  • Orbital will manage the consortium and develop the communication link among UAVs and the ground station, as well as coordinating the global design and integration of the system.
  • DD will provide the UAVs and integrate the subsystem modules.
  • CEIT will develop the DCT module and technology for positioning the trapped victims.
  • NAVPOS will be in charge of the development of the EGNSS modules which will offer high accuracy and timing performances considering the UAVs small size, weight and low power (SWaP) requirements.
  • SGSP will be in charge of defining the end-user requirements, and hosting the experiments and the MOBNET trials

CEIT is a private multidisciplinary non-profit research centre closely connected to TECNUN, the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Navarra (Spain) and member of IK4 Alliance. Its mission is to provide the industry with services through the development of technical research projects and to form young researchers and PhD students. CEIT has a staff of 248 employees and 93 PhD students and an annual budget over 15 M€. CEIT consists of three departments (Materials, Applied Mechanics, and Electronics and Communications) and three R&D Units (Unit on Microelectronics and Microsystems, Environmental Engineering Unit and Biomedical Engineering Unit).

The expertise of CEIT Electronics and Communications Department includes research interests in codification, signal processing and design of Electronic Systems and Integrated Circuits (IC) for wireless technologies. Designed ICs include Digital Radio, GPS, GSM, UMTS, WLAN, DVB-H/SH, UWB, RFID and RFID sensors. Delft
